Diaspora Action Australia invites you to attend the expert workshop series in advocacy and women’s leadership – Women advocating for change.

Develop your skills in advocacy, campaigning, public speaking, media liaison and leadership as part of our four-part workshop series for diaspora women activists. Includes professional guest speakers, practical sharing sessions and opportunities for networking.

1. Advocacy in Australia – extend your advocacy knowledge and skills with guest speakers from Oxfam Australia.

2. Engaging stakeholders – working with the media and other stakeholders.

3. Empowered presenters – develop your skills and confidence in public speaking with a full day session with a professional trainer in public speaking.

4. Community leaders – the role of women leaders and developing a campaign.

These free workshops are designed specifically for women from migrant and refugee (diaspora) communities who are active in promoting peace, human rights and development in their countries of origin.
